a thought just came to me...

hey all, was just sitting here pondering over a really strange dream i had, i didn'T have any pschedelics in awhile, and i havent smoked any bud either so i was looking for a reason why every now and again i have such realistic messed up dreams, and a thought came to me: i sometimes eat before i go to sleep.

I've heard from several people that eating before going to bed is a bad idea because of finding it hard to sleep/having messed up dreams. I know this seems sort of not to have any point to it, but the question i wanted to ask was: could certain food before you go to bed release the dmt in your brain when you are sleeping? cause in that case wouldn'T it be possible to find out what type of food does this, and then mix it with meditating, and slowly but surely get used to it, that you can release dmt on will. Sort of training a muscle that has never been trained before?

the only thing that is known about DMT in your body is that it is there. No one knows why or if there are ever large releases of it causing psychedelic states.

There are theories that during birth, death and sleep there are releases of large amounts, but this is not proven.

so basically, no one can answer your question.

I think what's more likely is that eating food before bed causes discomfort in your sleep (even though you may not feel it or remember it the next morning) - which could easily throw you into a "messed up dream".
