This is my first harvest off of my first casings. The problem im having now are with my casings. After i picked them, the rest of the pins stopped growing. I know they aborted because the heads have turned black. I know im supposed to pick off the aborts, but what will happen to my casing now? Will it continue to produce it's 2nd flush? Well here are some pics.

Good job. Yes your casing will continue on with its life and produce a second flush

Is there anything i should do to my casings to make sure theyre okay? After i picked the first flush, the casing kinda started to look dry, like really dry. Should i just get it moist or just leave it in the FC?

mist baby, mist.
Shrooms are over 90% water. So whatever the wet weight of your havest is, that much water has to be replaced into the casing and substrate. There are tricks and such, but constant misting is the most common practice.
Do not saturate the casing, mist it until it glistens a bit and wait for some hours and check on it. You are looking to replace all the water that is in the shrooms plus what is lost due to environmental conditions. Some folks will dunk their casings, but I never have had to. I'm looking into Terra-Sorb right now for maintaining high levels of moisture in casings without misting, I believe it will work. But for now just mist.

What if i left some of the aborts on the casing? Some of the aborts are so tiny that its hard to grasp them. They just mostly get smashed between my fingers and stay on the casing...

NEVER just leave aborts. There are many soltions to your problem. Myself, I use tweezers. You can also just use a needle and gently dig them out. If nothing else, anything with a sharp point like a fork can work.

Also, before i harvest my first flush, a few of the mushrooms dropped spores onto the casing, even onto other mushrooms, staining them black. Is this a problem or should i have nothing to worry about?

Read my pinning strategy to learn more about what to do in preparation for your next flush. As monstermitch said and I'll reiterate mist to near saturation and let her sit to consume more substrate and build energy for the next flush. Lookin good so far GF!

Thanks guys Hyphae, your guide is excellent. After my first flush, i had noo idea what to do, whether to just leave it or whatever. I got all the aborts after my harvest (so sad that so many of my babies didnt make it ) and i already see new primordia forming, not as much, but itll do.
