Hey all, sorry if this sounds like a dumbquestion, but i need some help. Lets say i found some mushies in dung, and they are brown caps...am i a winner? or do other type of mushrooms grow in dung besides magic shrooms?

Also this is my 1st hunt, im in s. FL....can anyone sugest an area 2 search? I heard manate county is great. Any sugestions?

Any help apreciated, mods please dont delete...i have no other source besides Shroomery.

You have got some reading to do my friend.

If you find mushrooms a good indicator is blue briusing -  do  not base your opinion just on that, however it will help you sift out things that are probably not active.

Remember its just an indicator - if it bruises blue it could still be poisonous.

There are more than one species that can have brown caps and grow in dung. Chances are that they are inactive though.

You should be looking for cubes or copelandia - both which bruise blue readily. Research those two if you haven't already.
