So when i make my hole in each lid for the inoculation can I cover the wholes with tape to block contams? Then just inject through the tape and tape over that whole.

You could in theory but that wouldnt help too much IMOP

just flame the needle and you will be fine.

If you do decide to use tape i highly recomend Micro-pore tape. Just about everyone here will agree

depends on the substrate you are using.
If you are using the pf style cakes with a dry vermiculite layer on top than micropore will only hurt you, not even help a bit.

If using grain jars like rye or wbs, I do this:
layer of tyvek
lid with 2, 1/4 holes drilled in it
ring to hold tyvek and lid down tight
two coffee filters over it all held into place with rubber bands
when innoculating, have micropore pre-cut soaking in alcohol
inoculate through coffee filters into 1/4 hole (through bottom layer of tyvek as well)
immediately cover hole with micropore
adhesive will take effect when alcohol dries
shake jar after all is dried and labeled

this wisdom was passed to me from agar the great
