finding millet

anyone have a good CHEAP and fast site for ordering good quality millet? i hear this stuffs teh shit and i wanna get pure millet; the best kind if there are differenent varieties. any and all info is appreciated.

ok well i lied. i would liek to find teh cheapest available but what im looking for is performance.
http://www.ebirdseed.com/store/ has red and white millet along w/ oats groats. millet is like 13.50 for 25lbs; oat groats are $18 for 20lbs. and free shipping. im prolly gonna order white millet and oat groats from here in a few hours; unless i can find a cheaper source but im fine with these prices; id rather get 25lbs or more anyway just so i have it available. input still appreciated.

well no response is better than a negative response. if you all hear of me using millet or oats groats in teh future it will have come from ebirdseed.com as im placing an order now. i just wish i knew if it woulda been better to get red millet; but i hear of ppl using white with success so ill stick with that. thanks all :-P

Using pure millet will work just fine, whether it's red or white.

what about parakeet feed? isnt it pure millet? i notice alot of the millet that is used has to be sifted through to get sunflower out, right? im not fimiliar with millet yet.

right; but as most people use white millet for millet substrate most people use BRF for flour cakes.
it is known that DRF is superior in nutrients but ppl still use BRF; as i do too.
just wanted to know if the red/white millet was teh same issue; like if i should be using red for more nutrients. oh well white will work and i cant WAITT!!
