I have seen auras of plants and people only twice in all of my tripping. Once was on about 200-300 mcg of LSD. They were very distinct, colorful and full of movement. The other time was on about 5 buttons of peyote. It was towards the end of the trip after being up all night. Visually they were feint, but I could feel them as waves of loving energy coming from people. I have had no experience like that on mushrooms nor the sythnetic tryptamines. Do I believe that auras exist? I have no solid opinion. Ever the scientist, I can think of one experiment that might show something. That would be to do a high dose of acid in a hospital and look in on the sick and dying people to compare auras to those of healthy people. Of course, nobody would be fool enough to voluntarily trip in a hospital... What are your experiences?

Sometimes I can sense energies surrounding people. I dont see them as auras, but feel their projections of their emotions and feelings. In the beginning I didnt know what the couse was, and I oftenly felt bad without knowing why, to find out later it was some friend that didnt feel good. In my latest shroom trip, it was the strongest. I could clearly sense the state of the people I was with. One person was in a very negative state, and he looked very different from the rest, more cold and dark, (darker colors where much more aggravated with him). I did not talked about this. His trip had later gone horribly bad. Luckely it hadnt influenced me in this trip.

Yeah, I get auras on people too, although it's not so much a visual thing, but I can *feel* the energy pouring out of them, like the teacher who wants to go home and doesn't care for the students, the ditzy girls so ugly on the inside they must portray themselves on the outside as glamour queens. Tripping at school has given me those vibes the most obviously.

i do this all the time... but the way people talk about auras, i would expect them to be something more than that, if they exist. i think what you're describing is more like extreme empathy. i can gain large insights about people based off of very subtle signs. sometimes i think it may be energy, but sometimes i think its just insight based on observing their face, the way they're dressed, the way the walk, carry themselves, the way their voice sounds, their eyes, etc... those things can all imply very strong things about the person to me; although i never judge them based on those intuitions, they are very frequently correct.

Auras exist, and some humans can see them as their eyes are sensitive enough to detect a form of light ray which is always there but not seen by most. Auras do not represent the spirit, but are an emanation, or byproduct, of the human body as a furnace, maintaining 98.6 degrees. As with other byproducts of the body, such as urine or feces or sweat or breath, the aura can tell a practitioner a lot about the mental and physical health of a person. Auras are normally pale blue, when viewed by humans, but vary all over the color spectrum and change shape, compressing close around the body or wafting out with tendrils. We, the Zetas, see human auras regularly, as well as those of ourselves, and were we not highly telepathic with one another would use this to read the well-being and mood of another, just as humans use the expression on the face of another human. Some human healers use their own aura and the aura of the patient to heal. When auras touch, they affect each other as they wrap back into the bodies. This is truly a means for one human to breath life into another, to alter a sick aura by sharing, to take some of the sick aura into oneself and absorb it. Like breathing air into another's lungs, one is using one's strength, one's reserves, to help another, without permanent harm to the giver.

I'm an empath---I can feel the feelings of others and "sense" things---sounds like you might be one too. I've seen auras (don't need to be tripping) but mostly I "feel" things instead of visually seeing them.....Then I get a mental picture....

Interesting... I had always assumed auras were purely visual, because that is how they were always described to me. I can relate to what a lot of posts here are describing as auras... in a non-visual sense. I sometimes see 'auras', though the wording there is misleading. It is more of a feeling than actually seeing something, but the feeling feels like looking, not feeling (does that make any sense at all?). It is very empathetic... almost like I can feel where that persons motivation originates, or what drives them to behave the way they do. I don't 'see' them very often... and when I do see them, they are always right (at least I don't know of any that led me down the wrong path).

Auras are something that I have been able to see for quite sometime. I was able to see them long before hallucinogens, and the use of drugs has neither increased or decreased my ability to read auras. Usually they apear as a 1-2 inch ribbon of color surrounding the entire body. I have never really though much of it, but it sure helps me read people alot better. I agree that auras are always present, but only certain people can see in that frequency range. The easiest way to tell if you have the ability to see auras is to look at your own hand. If you can see a faint ring surrounding the hand,(kind of looks like rising heat waves) then you can more than likely develop the ability to read auras.

Some people are "seers" and other people are "feelers". I used to have a terrible time when asked to do "creative visualization" because instead of "seeing" the desired end result---I would "feel" it. Find out whether you are mostly a "seer" or a "feeler". It simplifies things....

Auras are something that I often think about. I also notice them when close to people, but usually it is in a "feeling" sort of way. Have you ever sat down next to somebody and felt immediately that they were not especially kind, but not because of an action or appearance, but more from a feeling you get in your stomach. Granted, I have not encountered a whole lot of people like this, as I think that the vast majority of people are kind. At the same time, I have felt the opposite feeling sitting or standing close to a person, where I just felt they were friendly, and almost can feel a connection to them, but without ever speaking. As far as visual auras, when I eat shrooms I see auras on everything. What I see is what many people describe as the rainbow effect, but if you're not familiar, it is the spectrum of colors that forms outlines around the things you look at. I have no idea if anything I have spoken of here has any signifigance what so ever, but it is an observation, so make of it what you will.

Greetings.... I don't have to sit next to a person to get the information.... I often get it before they enter the room, from miles away, or even days before I meet them.... I can see a person's picture, read their "post", pass them on the street and often get a "mini history" of their life or a sense of impending danger.... I use this ability all the time for self protection and for helping people....but I rarely "see" beyond my mental pictures and that's good....."seeing" takes more energy than "feeling" but feeling has more of an emotional punch to it. You have to keep your wits about you..... I will often get depressed, angry, or suicidal (feeling) before meeting someone who is experiencing these feelings. I have learned to scan all feelings to see if they are mine of someone elses. The gut feeling is my compass although I have practised this to recognize the difference between the anxious gut feeling and the gut feeling that is telling me something important.
