AHHH DRY CAKES!

my cakes have sat unnatended for a week and are now very very dry - the didnt show any signs of growth in the casing - no mycelium even trying to move - im dunking them then recasing - will they be OK?

do you have cakes or casings? you cant recase a cake because you never cased it. i dont understand...

Don't leave then unattended!

Keep a daily watch on them, there are times when you will need to spray the walls of your terrarium in order to the humidity up and prevent the cakes from dyring out. You also need a couple of air exchanges each day.

Try dunking them overnight in water or case with damp verm.
