Any chance?

Ok well i inoculated about 4 days ago with Amazon in verm/brf jars. No signs of mycelium thusfar ( the syringe was kept in a fridge for about 3 months prior to inoculation)
If after a few more days (of no mycelial-sightings) should I do anything else to spark the mycelium?

then after waiting to see the first signs of growth, wait some more for full colonization, then wait more to see pins, then you wont have to wait long for full fruits! Welcome to shroomery.org!

Seriously man, this is no super fast ordeal going on here.
Some tips for not waiting so much:
Use Liquid Culture. Make dry substrates so you can compensate with extra lc upon inoculation Spawn your grain or whatever to a bulk substrate Devote yourself to learning more about the mushroom Create several differing projects that run at different stages
Patience is the key, allow the mycelium to achieve it's full potential

Eureka !
Now being day ten, 3 of my 10 inoculated jars are showing signs of colonization. I just got a heater today and I'll be putting it up tonight to keep them a bit warmer (room temp here is only high 70's and drops a bit at night) so I've got this heater rigged up with a homemade thermostat and that should do them some good.

make sure you don't over do the heat many a noob over did it with an uncontroled incubation set up. remeber they will still grow at a lower temp just take longer but if you over do it you get nothing.

IME dry heat from like a heater, reptile heat pad, etc dry out the
substrate, a fish heater in a bottle of water is an
excellent source of heat
