Just Getting Started in N. TX

Just moved to N. Texas and saw the following in my yard, it got my interest going so I found this website. I am certain, based on what I've read from this site, that all are inactive. There are plenty of cow pastures where I am so I will be venturing out soon. Will post pics when I get them.
Thanks for the info!

Take it easy and thanks again for the website.

Thanks. That is my concern too, right now it is 56%... Oh well, I just moved from central TX and can always venture back if need be.
Peace.

First two look like they could be Russulas or maybe even Lactarius. If they are russulas, they should break and crumble into pieces.. kind of like chalk would when broken. Lactarius typically has a milky latex, which can disappear in age though.
The third one down looks like it could be either a conocybe or a coprinus. A spore print would be able to distinguish between the two. Either way, not active and not something to eat.
The reddish one may also be a russula. More details are needed to be more sure.
The last one looks too small, the photo lacks important details, and you didn't list much for it.
The whole collection is inactive.

All of Texas is clustered with mushrooms and all you got to do is stick to hunting near those creeks and ponds.

Thanks again for all of the important info. I will be venturing out of my own yard tonight and will report findings. I will also try to be more informative with the information needed to ID these fellas.
