Burned Jar Dilemma

Ok, so I just PC'd three 1 pt jars, no problem. The individual WBS grains stick to the wall with a tiny halo of moisture when shaken which, if I understand correctly, is perfect moisture content.
The second batch of three jars burned but only slightly. Actually the towel I had placed inside the PC burned pretty good. The jars themselves are mostly just stained on the outside and the inside of the jars appear to have very little burned grains. The moisture content appears to be SLIGHTLY lower than the first batch but still, a ring appears around the grains stuck to the wall.
The towel and the bottom of the PC definitely took the brunt of the damage. I'm never using a towel in a PC again.
So now I face a dilemma; I can split my 10cc syringe among my single LC and three definitely-good jars (2.5cc each) or I can split it among one LC, three good and three ever-so-slightly-burned jars (1.4cc each).
Suggestions?

It's up to you. The water content will matter more than the burned part. As long as you feel comfortable with the moisture amount you'll be fine. Did you have too little water on the bottom? My PC came with a metal tray to put on the bottom. I'd use a metal pie tray with holes in it, or something similar.

No, the PC came with a tray but I was trying to give myself more water room by adding the dish towel. #$&*ing stupid. I'll never do that again.
I think you're right about the moisture level but I'm going to wait for a few more people to chime in before I decide.

Innoc away - you'll soon find out if its worked or not.
If you make your LC correctly (an easy feat to acheive - I think its the easiest part of the process by far) - then you will soon have heaps of LC to play with if things dont work out.
