$10.00 at a local Seattle book Store. A 1968 first edition.
Now I can sell the paperback reprint.

Love these kionda deals. Replaces books lost when I moved back to Seattle from the Pacific.

Nice! High Priest is a great read.
I'm not so crazy about Leary as I once was, but he's still one of my literary role models when it comes to translating the psychedelic experience into text, and High Priest is a great experiment in that regard.

Danksis has an original copy of that, but I have yet to read it. It's always cool to find original copies, though.

One day when I'm wealthy and wearing a suede tan jacket with brown elbow pads and sitting in a leather recliner puffin on a pipe, I will have an awesome collection of first editions, so help me God!

Tim also liked corderouy jackets with elbow pads. Tan colored ones. And Nehru styled shirts or white gowns like muslims those worn in the middle east so he looked like a guru.

If it is a first edition. It could have been a later one. The hard cover never changed in the jacket. The book itself has no picture when the jacket is rev moved.
It would say First Edition and also 1968 if so. Still Any hardbound book on drugs are valuable. I think this sells for $50.00 to a $100.00 but you would have to check amazon or ebay and see what iti is going for. My original one was autographed

Cool. It's only like $5...I'm so snatching that one up.
I always thought Leary was kind of a kook, but man was he interesting. I'll never fault him for being boring in any case.

very nice find. i've got one too. it is a great read, and one of the first texts to use multiple running narratives. Leary's best prose.
