I'm a college student. I was experimenting with propagating carnivorous plants, mainly in the genus Sarracenia. These are also known as North American Pitcher Plants. Similar to mushrooms, they look very weird. I purchased some premade medium which contained the right proportions of growth factors from phytotechnology and grew a few meristems out. The shit all contaminated(this was the first time I had ever played with agar, which was several years ago) and I aborted the project. NOw, I do agar work with A. bazei, white and black morels, C. comatus, etc. in place of the plant tissue culture. Mushroom TC is a lot easier!
