Hyphael Knotting description???
    #561161 - 02/24/02 12:07 AM (22 years, 9 months ago)

I've seen many photo's of hyphael knots, but each I've seen the close up doesnt really let me know what knotting looks. I've got two cakes that I birthed on the 16th and since then they've turned from a flat white to nice and fluffy... there are some nice sized bumps on the cake that is not rye grain, these bumps are fluffy though... My question is, are hyphael knot's fuzzy with mycelium? if not, what is their texture?

thanks in advance-

roy

I have them in my hydra-pod so they're getting plenty, but not too much, water.... there are what would be fuzzy pimples all over it, and on some of these fuzzy bumps there are large ryzomorphic(sp?) strands jutting from them... the thing is, these bumps werent there when I put them in the pod, but they are now... but they don't look like what I thought knotting was... is my humidity too high here or what? thanks
