So in the last few days I have a good solid diet on xanax and.....well xanax. So needless to say there are a few spots in my memory that have been completely earased. Moreover, I started to PC some jars of casiong layers and passed out(i know....no need to flame, my g/f did that enough 2night). But when I woke up the stove was off. I dont remember if I turned it off or someone was watching over my and decided it wasn't my time. Anyways, can I just PC them again w/ no detrimental effects? Or should I just case and see what happens.
Lesson learned: DOnt operate things that could go boom while on massive amounts of drugs.

Casing should be pasteurized, not sterilized. Sterilized casing will contaminate much faster than pasteurized. RR

This one is a matter of opinion, I disagree. I used to pasteurize casing mixes all the time, and trich/cobweb outbreaks were proliferate.
Since switching to nuking on high for 5-10 minutes in a microwave, which I consider sterilizing, contamination rates in my casing layers has dropped off to almost zero.
