TMJ - GONE!

Whelp, I posted here about TMJ a looong time ago...............But it went away the past year. I mean, if I open wide (I try not) the muscles still crack, I try and not crack it, it doesn't hurt at all anymore! <3
I had it for about 4 years or so.........the bad parts were in winter, I was so depressed all I did was sleep, wake up with anger and depressed because the pain would NEVER go away even though I went to get it fixed 92392939 times...nothing EVER helped...the mouth guard I had even chipped my front teeth, and I needed to get those fixed sadly.
I used to never come out of my room , was completely depressed, thought it would never end.........but then I came to the point where I was sick and tired of it all, I stopped thinking about my tmj and got on with life....did things I wanted to do even though I was in pain.....then all of a sudden there was no pain..........................................whoever made it go away I thank you.......<33333
and for everyone facing TMJ or chronic pain....there is life and light at the end of the tunnel......I wish you all luck and I hope I can give you strength because I overcame this horrible depressing TMJ disease
peace all!
now I have 100% happiness which is overwhelming at times...which is the complete opposite what I was before

I'm glad for you.
I've read that you shouldn't do exxagerated jaw movements like big yawns to avoid jaw tension.
I think that exercise and stretching can definitely help in this area. Something like handstands or squats will give your neck a good workout and help your whole face get worked out so there won't be as much workload on your jaw.
This stretch is good for releasing pressure as well. http://www.frixo.com/sites/fitness/exercises/pics/quadrev.jpg

Thanks bro
Yeah I think what cured it was forgetting about it, getting on with life, i STOPPED cracking my jaw by opening / yawning.......I even eat pizza and it doesn't do anything....I wish the muscle cracking under my ears would go away, But the doctor's don't even know what to do.....oh well guess it's something I have to deal with...........atleast it doesnt hurt!

I've had it for years. My jaw rarely pops anymore, but when it does it hurts. The weirdest thing is that the ball in one side of my jaw is upside down while the other is right side up which can affect the opening and closing. The pain fades, but I don't think it ever actually goes away, then again, I'm not positive.
