Contamination or not ?

Hi,
I tried to grow some agaricus campestris (very common in France) from a spore print taken on a mushroom I found in the fields on that autumn/fall. For that first growing experiment, I chose to apply the PF tek, hoping it would be efficient with agaricus campestris.
After the inoculation I covered the holes with some tape and put the jars in the dark. The temperature of the room varies from 23 to 25 degrees celsius (73 to 77 degrees fahrenheit).
Two weeks after the inoculation there was no trace of mycelium. I think all was lost but as I did not have time to start a new culture at that moment, I kept my jars in the dark, in the case things were not done without taking care of them.
One month later (1 month and a half after the inoculation), I checked and saw some white filaments. I wondered if it was the mycelium of the agaricus or cobweb mold.
In the articles I consulted, contaminants were described as being from a pastel to a black color and letting out a strong sour foul odor whereas the mycelium was sensed to let out a light and pleasant mushroom odor.
I opened my jars to smell. The odor was not very strong but not exactly pleasant, evocating more the smell of mould than the one of fresh mushrooms but it seems it did not stink like it is described in the PF tek about contamination. I wait 2 weeks more (2 months after the inoculation) in order to let time to the odor to strengthen and get more informations. Today the odor did not much vary, it smells fusty but not foul.
I still don't know if I face a contamination I must throw away or the mycelium of the agaricus campestris. I took some photos and I'd like to have your opinion : must I throw the jars away and start the whole process again or continue to wait ?

Thanks a lot in advance and sorry for my poor English, I am not a native speaker.

looks like it might be a slight case of the cobwebs hit it with some h2o2

The only thing I can see in any of those is cobweb mold. Mycelium will be strandy, much thicker. After two months if a jar hasn't colonized, it probably will not. GL.

Thanks for your help. It's hard to to distinguish mycelium from cobweb when you don't have never seen it before.
If i don't see any trace of mycelium 2 weeks after inoculation, can i deduce that the jars will not be colonized ? What are the possible causes of colonization failure ?

There are some great pictures of healthy mycelium growth on this site if you do a little searching. And, yes, if you do not see growth within a couple weeks, you can guess that something was not right. It is very easy to contaminate a spore print and/or syringe--and your substrate might have been contaminated. I do not know the laws in France, but you should try to obtain a good Psilocybe Cubensis spore print or syringe (which is perfect if using the PF tek). GL.
