cleaning my room because...
    #5608351 - 05/09/06 11:30 AM (17 years, 10 months ago)

I'm going to take some LSD tonight and I hate tripping in a messy space. Right now I'm setting up some nice lighting, got some art supplies and some good music. Very excited.

Debating 2-3 hits. I'm a pussy.

:mushroom2: :mushroom2: :mushroom2:]

Anyone else find it to be stressful tripping in a cluttered area?

Also any musical suggestions, I like listening to music, I've never heard before when I trip.

If you're going to all this trouble, do 3.

my room needs a good cleaning anyways. plus one hit was really crazy when I did it. I'm afraid of what 3 would be like if the trip went south.

yea, I found that tripping in my room was great because its neat and clean and has a big window to look out, and the fact that my rooms walls are painted sky blue.

that sounds really nice. I have white-greyish walks, but im putting up old blankets on the walls from when I was a little kid.

I'm going to post some pics in a bit.

Oh man that sounds awesome. Definitely go with what you feel comfortable with, unless you're in the mood for some wonderfully powerful exploration.

Yeah I've tripped in messy areas, and it's definitely a different vibe than a fresh and clean area.

I also like to clean my room up very good before a trip.Ever since a mushroom experience I had were I didnt clean up beforehand.I soent most of my trip trying* to clean.I didnt actually clean anything.I would start doing somthing then notice somthing else and go do that before I forgot.

So by the time morning came my room was a complete mess. There was stuff pulled out everywhere, where I had been trying to organize everything.

It wasnt a bad trip just frustrating. So now I clean up before a trip.

Yes.

If you haven't heard any of the following albums I HIGHLY suggest them for tripping:

My Morning Jacket - Z
Sigur Ros - ()
Talking Heads - anything by them.
Animal Collective - Feels (I think you'd really enjoy that)

Philip Glass IS dreamy!

Have you heard Songs from Liquid Days? It's six songs I believe, all sweeping and epic, with lyrics written by Suzanne Vega, David Byrne, and I think Paul Simon, all being sung operatically by opera singers. It's fucking great! If you haven't I will upload one for you.

Also I love Glassworks!

I'm downloading a bunch of that music now.
My favorite song to listen to while tripping is "Manoir De Mes Reves". I don't know who its by but its on the Rushmore soundtrack.
One know who wrote this song?

edit: its by Django Reinhardt.

The new David Gilmour album should be good while tripping. Aside from that, check out Porcupine Tree's The Sky Moves Sideways, maybe Opeth's Damnation(though it's a rather melancholy album, it's pretty awesome).

Animal Collective sound great!
So does Sigur Ros, I just downloaded a few songs that I've heard before, but can't remember where.

Tonight is going to be fucking great.
