Hunting Pics from GA - need id
    #5608305 - 05/09/06 11:18 AM (17 years, 8 months ago)

I went out last night and found a bag full of these mushrooms which i belive may be coplandia cyanescens. They were found throughout a cowfield, have a black spore print, have a brownish to yellowish color, but due to the storage methods used turned brown in the bag over night, yet some still remain the same. The stem is thing and pretty tough. I have pictures but am confused on how to post them. if anyone can help it would be great

The pics in your shared photo gallery (found here http://www.shroomery.org/forums/usergallery.php?gallery=126439 ) appear to be an inactive panaeolus.

I looked at that option to, but the location and spore print were different. They were actually in the dung, and instead of the purplish spore print it was black. they were also beat up pretty badly over night

Yes, those characteristics are normal for inactive Panaeolus species though.
