well its started with my sub taking 4 weeks to colonize and then my casing 2 1/2 weeks to pin (i dunked it at the 2 week mark) and now its been a week and my pins are forming very slowly. every day i check them they are slighty larger and more and more pins keep forming. temps are in the low to mid 70's, i fan 3-6 times a day, give them a very light mist 3 times a day. is there anything i can do to speed these guys up or are some strains just slow at times

Sub is probably too wet or too dry, or you may have a contam like bacillus.

My guess is you neeed a higher temperature. More like 80+. Also, you really should invest in a humidity gauge. They're extremely cheap and usually come in combo's with a temperature gauge. How convenient!

Your temps are fine. Don't increase above the mid 70's for fruiting. If the weather is hot and you can't get it that low, don't worry, but never deliberately heat a fruiting chamber above the mid 70's.
Personally, I'd get rid of the peroxide in your mister. While the mycelium can tolerate peroxide, it doesn't make it very happy. Also, a dunk at the two week period didn't help matters. Continue fanning, mist only when and if necessary, and wait. Perlite in a mono tub is likely to be giving you near 100% humidity which is too high for cased substrates. I'd dump the perlite out next time you fan and let the tray of substrate supply the humidity.
It shouldn't have taken that long to colonize, so something else is off. Either your moisture content, ph, substrate packed too tightly, a substrate not to they're liking, or cold temperatures, to name a few. Good luck. RR

well im still seeing very slow growth. there is a noticable difference on most of my pins, but on some i can see they havent shown any improvment and am guessing they aborted. ive counted over 50 pins but they are all growing extremely slow. there over a inch in majority and everyday more and more keep coming up. i should be starting my 2nd flush but instead im still waiting on my first flushes pins
