"Aqua Coir" Casing Question

Hi, I plan on graduating from cakes to my first casing soon, and while at the garden shop I picked up a bag of "Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix with Aqua Coir". It contains sphagnum peat moss, coconut husk fibers (coir pith), composted bark fines, perlite, "a wetting agent", and Miracle-Gro fertilizer.
Would this be suitable for casing, or would I be better off with plain old peat moss? If this would work, does anyone have any idea what the ratio of the potting mix to vermiculite / calcium carbonate would be?
Also, I picked up some Hi-Yield Agricultural Limestone, but I have a feeling that this is the Hydrated Lime mentioned in Ryche Hawk's tek, and not the calcium carbonate I'm looking for. Could anyone confirm this for me?
Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated!

I'd stick with just peat
Not sure how well bark would work . However i've heard of someone using what you're talking about, they never posted back about it tho
As for the Ph buffers, I know this much.
Calcium carboante = Long term buffer Lime(hydrated?) = Short term buffer.
That's about it, lol.
I personally just use verm...Can't find any damn ph buffers around here ...Got some looking around to do tho
gl with it

The Miracle Gro fertilizer wouldn't be good for your mushies. If you want a simple, ready-to-use casing, use some Jiffy Mix. It's got peat, verm and lime already pH balanced and ready out of the bag.

The mix actually is very good except for the fact that it contains fert pellets. I have used this in a pinch AFTER removing all the fert pellets (real PITA!!!).

Thanks for the replies! I guess I'll pick up some peat moss and and keep the Aqua Coir just in case, as hyphae said. All your help is much appreciated.
