I am planning a five gram solo trip next week and I need some really mind-blowing tunes to pass the time.
What I want are tunes that will elevate my consciousness similar to the way Shpongle does. You know how some songs just have that effect while under the influence...
A suggestion would be something like this song by Massive Attack...

I seem to remember Massive Attack being a jam band. If that's the case, check out Perpetual Groove and Keller Williams.

Massive Attack is kind of a trip-hop remix sort of band, from what I have heard anyways. Some of their songs are really trippy. I will check out the ones you mentioned tho, thanks

Teardrop is the best MA song ever. Liz Fraser almost makes me have to change pants every time I hear it, it's so amazing. A great drug album....get Porcupine Tree's "The Sky Moves Sideways." Their earlier stuff is amazing for any drugs, though their more recent stuff is good too.

Check out the K&D sessions (an album). Also, anything by bonobo.

If you can, download the album In Search of a Meaningful Moment, by Shulman. You won't be dissapointed. It's one of my favorite psychedelic ambient albums ever. I've personally never read one bad review of it. The first two tracks will leave you speechless. Track 2 will leave you weeping like a little baby.
This guy's music really is absolutely amazing. The way he layers music is mind melting, especially while tripping. Expect one of the most beautiful rides you've ever taken....
Thank me later.
