Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins
This my first read of Tom Robbins. So far I like it...his style is kinda out there.

This article really made me want to try it over DMT.
Amazing article, highly suggest reading it

Currently reading Zoetrope: All-Story. Francis Ford Coppola launched a magazine devoted to supporting the brightest young voices in fiction. Zoetrope is also an art magazine, inviting a different contemporary artist to illustrate and design each issue.

I recently finished the "21 Lessons of Merlyn: A Study in Druid Lore and Magik" by Douglas Monroe; I am in the midst of reading "The Wheel of Time: Crossroads of Twilight" by Robert Jordan. I am looking for a new book to read also. Maybe I will pick one up from the list above, although so far I have already read most of them.

Just started Duncan Sprott's The Ptolemies today
Looks to be quite promising
Historical fiction is where it's at (especially when it's narrated by the Egyptian god Thoth

Comparatively interesting book. Pleasure reading or for school/work?

I'm reading/researching:
"Poetry, Language, Thought" / Martin Heidegger "The Essence of Truth" / Martin Heidegger "City of Glass" / Paul Auster "Illusion's Game" / Chögyam Trungpa "The Philosophy and Poetics of Gaston Bachelard" / Mary McAllester "Philosophical Investigations" / Wittgenstein
And every few days I'm reading some poetry that I bought a few weeks ago.
