I figure since music has its own topic
Anyway...
Currently getting through Gail Tsukiyama's The Language of Threads. It continues where she left off on Women of the Silk and continues Pei's engaging adventures made bland by an unimaginative writing style and jumpy details
-------------------- There is no valid reason why you should be reading this

Hell yeah Blastrid. I'm on my 4th time through it right now. Only book that I'm reading all the time.
Other than that I'm reading:
Coericion by Douglas Rushkoff
Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson
Something Happened by Joseph Heller - great book so far sad and hilarious at the same time.

i just finished reading that. i thought it was way cool that he fought his way through all the red tape to get approval to test DMT on humans. however, im not so sure he found out anything of great importance. he sure had some interesting ideas on the pituitary gland though. What do you think of the book so far?

I think "the spririt molecule" is far beyond most people's comprehention,(its pretty far out) and much of it is very relavent(though it may not be new to you, or something). Not everyone can relate to the far out claims of shamans etc etc........ Most people who take drugs dont know a damn thing about the potential of hallucinogens....(this is true)....Most meaning more than half............. To stay more on topic: I just finished reading "virtues of selfishness" (Ayn Rand) for a second time. I am now reading "constitutional chaos" by judge Andrew P.

SO what the hell is that book about. If you read it 7 times Ive got to know.
Koh samui was the first strain I ever grew myself. Love that strain more than most.
Give me a clue. Its not all that well known.
Id like to know, (the full title would be good).

It's an interesting book so far, the people have had a lot of crazy experiences (especially the encounters with otherworldly beings and similarities between the experience and death). I agree with a lot of the things that Strassman sort of led me to think about, it seems like he wanted to say a lot of stuff but couldn't state it as fact. I don't think he discovered anything revolutionary really, or at least anything new. It was nice to have a bunch of first hand experience on DMT in book form though that's for sure. I'm just getting onto the part about Psilocybin now.
I think I would rather try Ayahuasca though, the people who have tried both seem to agree Ayahuasca gives you more time to work with.

This article really made me want to try it over DMT.

I stopped reading Something Happened about half way through because it was just too depressing that this family was so dysfunctional, and in some ways it reminded me of my own family.
Right now i'm reading Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky. Awesome book, you really get a sense of the confused and fragmented mind of the main character.
