ID needed for a GA mushroom

Habitat- Suburbs of Atlanta, GA. Found in my neighbors yard in bermuda grass. Gills- Off white in color. No spore print yet because i'm doubtful on this one...if it's needed I will get it. Stem- About 2 inches long. Brown at the bottom and white towards the top. I'm pretty sure it's hollow. Cap- Around 1 inch in diameter. Brown in the middle with a slight nipple. Get's lighter toward the outside. Bruising- It didn't really bruise whatsoever when I squeezed it or pinched it with my nail which is why i'm doubtful on this one.
I would like to know it's name even if it's not active.

Dunno it's name but it aint active, it's one of billion LBMs. It amazes me so many people wanting to see if a mushroom they found growing in their backyard is active. Chances are immediately reduced massively just because of the habitat.
Instead of picking a mushroom in your backyard and hoping it is active, you should read and research about which type of mushroom you want to target then do an organised hunting trip. It's great fun and good to get outdoors. Good Luck!
(and if you do find one in your backyard, all the power to you! It's not impossible, just unlikely).
...oh and welcome too.

i've done some research. I've been browsing the last few months to get ready for this season but i've mainly been researching cubes and weilli since those are some of the most common found around where I live. I don't know much about pans but I was just curious if this was one of the many species. A buddy of mine and I are planning a small hunt for some early weilli in a few days since it's supposed to rain again in GA soon. I can't wait.

No it is not a Psathyrella Velutina, Psathyrella Velutina has dark gills and a black spore print. It also would have a veil. Im not sure what you found but it isnt active. CHUCK IT

Looks similar , it is a psyathyrella , not sure what species but looked like velutina , and i have seen them without veils , gills are only dark because of spores , could be steril or has not produced any spores yet ..
