Humidifying method help needed
    #5605555 - 05/08/06 04:14 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

I have a loft in my house where im keeping some quart jars of WBS that have been inoculated 2 weeks ago. Theyre in a box with the lid hanging over the lip some so a humidifier blows striaght up into the box, which seems to work well. The problem is that now water is dripping down the walls of the room and i figure this isn't that great for the walls. any easy suggestions to fix this?? i guess i could just put the humidifier and jars in a large plastic container.

why are you humidifying jars?

you only need humidity to fruit not colonize.

Given that your jars are sealed and there is little FAE, humidity isn't such a big deal.
