organic rye flour?

They didn't have any BRF at walmart when I went for my supplies, so I got a pack of organic rye flour instead. It's whole grain rye with no preservatives or anything like that.

Think it'll suffice for cakes with vermiculite?

just get brown rice and grind it in a coffee grinder its better this way actually. fresher. i used rye flour when i did cakes.

for whole grains youll need a PC though unless you again grind it yourself.

I had the same issue couple of weeks ago and i bought some rye flour.
I tried it and it works well.
The only difference is the mixing method.
you put the verm first and then the water, soak it well and then put the rye flour just spray it over, mix and spray more, slowly otherwise it will be like dough... and i use little less flour than the brf.
try a couple of jars and see.
mine are colonizing right now, although i used a bit too much water and it looks wet.

Glad I saw this, I had the same issue. It seems BRF isn't all that common around here
