1st casing... pins.

This is the result of my 1st casing starting to pin. Its GT strain. Overall i think it looks great, but are those occasional areas of casing due to not patching enough during the beginning so it couldve caught up?
the pic had to be saved on low res to fit the 200k limit. theres a ton of tiny pins that are kinda obscured by graininess of the photo.
heres the pic

Whats the humidity in there? Also, is that a verm/coir casing?

sorry, yes, its verm/coir. the humidity is probably about 70-80%, its just in a tub with wet perlite, and i dont mist it, it still looks moist.

You need to try to up the humidity some. The pins look a lil dry. Go ahead and mist SOME. Coir casings sure can suk up some water.

if its a closed tub of wet perlite id say its closer to 100% that perlite wicks a ton of moisture into the air. lets you fan the hell out of it and still keep the 80 % RH for casings. pins like that extra fae from what i can tell.

are those pins with the grey or dark caps aborts? My coir/verm casing is at almost the exact same stage.

no they arent aborts, the golden teacher strain (that was delivered to me anyway) has pins with MUCH darker caps and they remain that way until they are nearly mature. Much more dark & maroon than the B+ or Super Strain i also have.

Not necessarily so many strains start this way.
