Hey everyone, I'm new here, been browsing around the site for awhile but decided to join just now.
Heres whats going down. I'm still fairly new to the whole mushroom thing so I'm just clarifing things with you guys (the more experienced). I have some spores from some really good mushrooms I was trippin on with my friend on wednesday. Now he told me how to grow more of these shrooms with the spores. He recommended I get some kind of tub (rubbermaid or something) fill it with water, rye berries and put the spores in. Heating this all the time and occasionally putting more water in it, shrooms should grow in about a week.
Soooo..I have here a glad plastic tub about 7x7inches and 3 inches tall. Planning on using a bendable desk lamp to heat it up. I was wondering just exactly how much water, rye berries I should add. And details on rewatering/heating would be appreciated too. I'm trying to grow with just simple household items here. Thats about it, if you guys know of another way besides this one that works better/easier, let me know. Thanks in advance!

Here is part others with fill in,
Start on the equipment first and the most expensive thing that you might need is a PC.
If you want to do grains you need a PC, and get a big one,

Read about LC, 1cc of spores and in a few days you can get 450 or more in mycelium. This will help you out greatly!

Maybe make some grain lids,

I like LC>>>Rye berries>>>hpoo/compost>>>50/05 casing layer.
And here are some links,

LC stands for liquid Culture bro. Read up on it in the FAQ or better yet DO a search. All the info that you proly need is in the searches or the Teks on this site. Best advice i can give is to READ. Good luck.
