who is your favorite.. based on personality, impact, and anything else u want to take into account
hands down for me is Chad Johnson.. dude is hysterical, hes an amazing player.. and idk he just entertains people.
runner up would probably be.. Larry Johnson.. complete other end of the spectrum, a very quite, respectful guy.. and a great runner.

I'd either go with Rasheed Wallace or Mark Buehrle. Buehrle probably, because baseball is by far my favorite sport.

Football - Tomlinson, Vick, Deion Branch. Tomlinson and Vick are a ton of fun to watch, and I've met Branch, he's an awesome guy.
Baseball - Varitek, Schilling, Wakefield, Ortiz, Pujols, and Hunter.
Tek is an awesome captain - he's smart, busts his ass, plays injured, and has a ton of respect for the game. Schilling is the same way, and he's a work horse. Schilling is always the first one out of the dugout to congratulate someone, he's always on the edge of his seat even when he's not pitching, supporting his team. I love that. Wakefield never complains, and he'll do whatever he can to help the team, whether it be start, middle relief, or whatever. He does a TON of charity and volunteer work, and donates a lot of money to good causes, and doesn't expect fanfare or publicity because of it.
Ortiz is Mister Clutch hitter. I love watching him bat. Pujols is just a monster, and he's an amazing all around athlete. Hunter is incredible to watch in the field...some of the catches he makes are unreal.

My all time favorite baseball player is Dave Winfield. He was extraordinarily graceful and powerful. He hit homers that are still rising over the left field wall at Yankee stadium and his gait was a joy to behold. The best big man I ever saw going 1st to 3rd.
Favorite football player was Joe Kapp. Forget it, you'll never know.
Basketball...Moses Malone. I can't explain that either except I really liked that he told the whole college mafia to fuck off. And was great and helped Doc get a championship.
Hockey... Guy LaFleur. I'd say Bobby Orr maybe (nah) but he was a Bruin (i.e. Boston scum)

I just think he's awesome. I love watching him play and he is damn good. He's passionate about the game as well and wants to win. He always makes me laugh to when he gets mad about something. I've watched him since he was at UNC and have always liked him.
I don't like other players that are always arguing with the refs or the other so called "bad boys" but for some reason those things about Rasheed amuse the hell out of me.

Al Wilson
Starting Middle Linebacker for the Denver Broncos.
Team leader, defensive caption.
He's undersize, quick as hell, EXCELLENT tackler, gets all up in teammates faces' if they're fucking around, and plays injured.
And I've met him, cool and humble guy...

Until Gretzky, Mr Orr was the best player I ever saw. He revolutionized the position of defenseman in hockey. But I hated the Bruins. Bunch of chippy cunts. My favorite player was Guy LaFleur. No helmet and just pure grace on the ice.

Bobby was the man, so silky smooth and for most of his career did it on one leg. If he would have played today the advances in knee surgery would have allowed him to win 20 instead of 8 Norris trophies.
I have him 1a to Gretz at one 1b.

Carmen is a badass.
Before the first Robinson at the presser a reporter said to him that all 15 out of a poll of journalists predicted a Sugar Ray win. He gets up coldly and says "Well 15 of those men are wrong" He then got in the ring and hounded and pounded on the best p4p fighter ever to win the Middleweight title.
Carmen is a badass.

I'm sorry to hear that. The totality of his beauty was in the moment and immediacy of the game, never knowing what was going to happen. And then it did. That fucking parallel goal he scored, I think against the Rangers, was sublime. Game winner, I believe. He really was Gretzky before Gretzky.
That stick has the two best players ever on it.

Good to see Joe Crede on your list. I think he's the best defensive third baseman in the league and he is one of the best clutch hitters that you'll ever see.
