these mushrooms were found in a cow field and my friend and i were wondering if they were poisonous.

very very hard to give a proper id with those blurry pictures but im gonna take a wild guess and say they are some species of Coprinus.

Not active however.

I think they look more like Conocybe lactea than Coprinus. Either way, they are neither edible nor active.

I agree, Conocybe or Coprinus. Maybe even Psathryrella. Not active though, possibly poisonous if it is a Conocybe.
