Exceptionally idiotic mushroom trip

I think I'll share an exceptionally retarded mushroom trip I had last night with the rest of you.
Started off we were all sitting around watching some shitty movie. One girl got up and started trying to get people to go out with her and I was getting bored watching the shit movie so I got up. Nobody else wanted to go so there was only 2 of us.
We decided to just walk in one straight direction. As we were strolling down the street talking all sorts of psychological and senseless insanity we stopped at some sort of community center and noticed the rock that resembled a horses skull.
At that point we were both heavilly tripping and on the brink of insanity. I picked up the rock and threw it at the community center window. The rock was gigantic but the window wouldnt break so I took it as a sign from god and for some weird reason I decided I was on a mission from god to carry the rock to the river.
Problem was I didnt know were or how far the river was all I knew was if we kept walking in the one direction we'd hit the river at one point or another.
After a while we ended up in the ghetto but there was no river to be found. It was about 3 in the morning and the homies were asking where we were going and trying to sell us drugs and shit and Id reply "were going to the the river". Theyd always say "You mean the canal??". Id reply "No I mean the real thing. The river. Im not settling for no half ass canal" then Id walk away petting the rock and singing "Take me to the river". The homeboys seemed to find this hilarious.
After a long walk we stumbled upon a canal which I thought at the time was the river so I hurled the rock in. 10 seconds later I realized it was only a canal so I stripped naked and went in to get the rock. The only problem was there was about a 8 foot drop into the canal so I started climbing down the rock wall.
I knew at the time it was incredibally stupid and I could see that when I went down there was no way I was getting back up but that didnt stop me. I was most of the way down but I still had a grip of the edge of the rock wall. I dont know how I did it but I managed to climb down to the canal without falling in and I dipped my foot in the water and realized it was about -20 degrees.
The icy water made me rethink my plan to get the rock. I started climbing back up the wall and when I was almost back up I slipped and fell back down again but insanely enough I grabbed the edge so I didnt fall in. I was getting a little desperate at that point so I asked the girl to pull me back up. She was laughing her ass off and she grabbed my arm but she accidentally let go and I fell into the canal.
Just as I suspected the canal was shallow and there were rocks everywhere. Surprisingly I didnt break any bones when I hit the rocks. I was in serious agony but I knew how lucky I was. As I was floating in the ice water I realized there was no way back up. If I fell in the first time theres no way I could climb up the wall wet.
At that point the girl was freaking out she thought I was gonna die. I swam down the canal for about 15 minutes until I got to a bridge so I climbed up the side of it.
Luckily I made it all the way home without catching pnuemonia and I didnt catch any diseases that I know of from the filthy canal water.
I suppose I can just consider myself one lucky bastard that I didnt drown, freeze, or catch a disease in that canal. Im pretty sure if I had broken my legs on the way down I wouldnt have made it to the bridge. The whole way to the bridge I couldnt swim because I was getting snagged on the jagged rocks. I could only walk down the canal in extreme pain.
I look like I just got back from world war 3 at the moment but no serious injuries.
I should add we were drinking like fish that night. On shrooms alone id never do something that stupid. I think the drink had alot to do with it.

Sounds logical to me.

that's classic. It would've been funny as hell to be one of your friends and see you walking in like that at 4 or 5 in the morning. glad to know you got home safe though

Sounds hilarious, too funny for anyone to truly chide you. Glad things went okay! Maybe next time you'll be a little safer though...

Agreed, sounds fun, just next time excercise a little more common sense... Would have been an embarassment to everyone who uses shrooms though if you had to be rescued naked from the canal...
