Cambodginiensis?
    #560051 - 02/22/02 07:39 PM (14 years, 9 months ago)

What's the skinny on it. Who's grown it, how did they grow it, how low was the yield. I can't seem to find anything on it's cultivation, only the field reports from MJ's site.

Ralphster? Hawk? Workman? MJ? Anno? Anybody?

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

I think it grows pretty much the same as cyans or trops.

Yes it grows the same as the cyanescens. It took longer to set pins, by a couple of days.

Nice! Were those bioassayed by chance? When you say same as trops and cyans, I assume you mean a dung and/or straw sub with a thin casing? Where did that strain come from aaron?

Were those bioassayed by chance? YES, and Cambodginiensis is the best i think! trops next and then cyans.

Beautiful pics you guys, great cambos and trops. I've only had pans from fresh wild, but I like trops from the South Pacific islands the best (I don't know about Hawaii's, cuz they're usually mixed in with all the cambos and cyans in our local paddocks, and I can't/don't try to separate them. I used to eat about 20-25 cambos or trops fresh, don't know how many grams that is, but I think that's too much by 2x. I've seen some large ones, cambos are consistently a little bigger caps than cyans, 2" common, 1/2 to 1" usual. Cambos are very energetic, they come on in about 5 minutes. Trops for me are the smoothest come on, with no body stuff, unlike the somatic illusions from cubes coming on. Trops have given me high ecstacies. From 12 to as little as 5 big trops have been my best times. Quite different from The Bear's products IMO, almost no comparison.

I need to cultivate some more, as the paddocks have been empty for a couple years now...

Thanks for all the info guys. When I used to grow, I only tried the trops once and the cyans once, both very small experiments intended only to get a dose out of each. Both were cased dung/grain mixture fruiting in wide mouth quart jars and yielded a good dose before being neglected. Now my kitty kat is interested in moving up to the pans, and I have little personal advice to offer her. I think I'll recomend the cambodginiensis.

For those with more experience, just how low yielding are these things? I know yields vary considerably, but what are some experiences from how much substrate? Half ounce dry per sq. foot, maybe?

thanks for all the pix!
