Meditation and stress relieving for mental health
    #5600117 - 05/07/06 03:55 AM (17 years, 8 months ago)

Hello,

Though i have put this topic elsewhere also. But i hope this would be beneficial here also, as this forum also deals with the subject of my topic. I hope you have heard about meditation! It is actually one of the ways to connect oneself to the Overself--but in today's world, meditation is often confused with concentration, or sitting silently for hours. Though this concentration is necessary for meditation, the real state of meditation can't be attained so easily.

There is an online free tool that can be downloaded from Internet--it is called meditation tool, but it is for making concentration, which will further increase the capacity to meditate.

www.in15seconds.com

At the bottom, you will find a link "Free Download". If you need an invitation key, you can use sdkrdksh@gmail.com, as i get the free credit to use this tool. Check it and see if it can be helpful.
Is the tool beneficial

It sounds quite funny to me when people on other forums sometimes replies. First of all they use too much of verbal stuff, which makes little meaning in the written language, and people who know or understand English as a second language, finds it utterly difficult to understand what the real meaning behind the remarks was!

I got quite a few of those comments about this tool--almost all of them were quite un-understable to me, but very recently, i got one message, which hailed to tool a real good one and site a cool place! It stated that the tool has some good features, and if we really employ meditation in our daily life, we can really do a world full of good to ourselves. I was very happy to read the understanding of that person--i hope someone here would also have to say something about the tool or in general about meditation. I welcome the comments and am waiting for any! Thanks!

I don't want to come off as sounding too negative, but I tried it and if you really want some opinions on it...

Well, first i'll say that I certainly am not all that experienced with meditation, or claim to know a whole lot about it. And I suppose I could give the program more of a chance, but personally I just don't like it.

I'm not even sure that I have a good reason, but there's just something about it... one thing is the sounds get annoying. I never really cared for the idea of a mantra, helpful or not. I guess the main thing is that it just doesn't make sense... I mean I don't see how it could be useful for me. Maybe I just really suck at this or something, or maybe there isn't supposed to be a pattern but I wasn't noticing a relationship between the heartbeat, mantra, and wave descriptions. I don't know, it just wasn't doing anything for me.

Something like insight meditation, that makes a lot of sense to me. And while I still have a hard time with that, I really prefer that method. So i'm sure it comes down to what works best for each individual. It seems the program could be helpful for some, and thanks for posting about it since it was interesting to try. I just hope someone else will be able to benefit from it more than I did.

Yes dear, i am not feeling sad on your remarks as in understand that it may be helpful to someone and not so to others! I understand that it was not that helpful to you, but no issues--you are always welcome to share your thoughts!:)

Yes, when i tried this tool, i also had some problems with the sound, and it seemed to much of noise--concentration was a bit difficult, but i have heard on some other forum that the person liked the tool. It always happen with almost all the things of this world--to some they are beneficial, and to some they are not!

Thanks again for trying this tool and putting your thoughts here! May God bless you and may you advance in all your spiritual efforts!

Well, downloading it is a simple process. When you press the button, you will get a form that would have some fields. In the invitation you can use my reference--sdkrdksh@gmail.com and they would send you a mail with passwords and all those things--you will also get a second mail.

I would suggest that after getting the mail, you should download the user manual first, as it is a bit difficult to get it working--i also was not able to get it working, but after reading the user manual, it was easy. You can also try the quick guide that they have now provided.

There is no other way that you can get it working--you will have to read the user manual and then download it accordingly. It will work perfectly, thereafter.

Kindly let me know if you still face some problems, and i will be more than happy to assist you in this!

Thanks for writing and i await your confirmation that you are able to download and use it!:)
