Turn off your ultra sonic and see how much humidity you have. If you have good humidity...Then you don't need it...

Lose the Ultra Sonic.
My green house will maintain the proper humidity with no help . The cool mist will add to the humidity and give you great FAE.

If you've got a bunch of tiny water droplets forming on your casing layer - Then no.
If your humidity is in excess of 99% - Then no.
If you're doing cakes then it shouldn't be a big deal...But, if you're doing casings...Then you'll want to drop it down.

Look for little droplets..Tiny ones are no big deal..Like pinhead of a needle tiny....But if you've got them all over your casing...Watch out...If your Rh is to high, you'll notice that they'll just keep gettin bigger or stay there..Which you DON'T want...Stagnate water can screw a pinset up.

RH can never be too high really but the FAE's can be too low. Now this is just another way of looking at it, in nature there is unlimited FAE's so even in the fog (100% RH) mushrooms flourish. Now we don't have this ability to create unlimited FAE's so we must balance our artificial environments. Not all coolmists are created the same remember so finding out which models are working for most people or HC is important. Now try to find the perfect balance but remember mushrooms thrive in high humidities but they also love lotsa FAE's!

I agree, up your air exchange. leave the door part way open if you have to. If the mist is causing water to drip from the shelves onto your casing layers, cover them with wax paper to keep the large drops from hitting.
My greenhouse is easily three or four times the size of a martha. I have several holes cut in the sides and front for air exchange, and two cool mists running one minute on, six minutes off gives 90% humidity, with no visible mist or dripping water. You'll just have to experiment until you get your setup dialed in. Get a good analog hygrometer that you can calibrate. RR

A lot is gonna depend on where you are at and your ambient temps and humidity. In my area a cool mist alone would never handle the job. The Ultrasonic, do you have the outlet for it just over the cool mist outlet? In a Martha this is very important cause the ultrasonic fog as we will call it drops into the cool mist airstream. This mixes the fog well and should allow you to drop the amount of time the ultrasonic runs lowering dripping from shelves and such.

so little water droplets on the mycelium on top of the casings wont hurt anything? its just on the mycelium not on the actual casing substrate. thanks.

if you're really worried about mist in the air and want to lower the water content safely look in to excelsior moss. Blue Helix hooked up this idea. Stuff some into the tubing right at the point it comes out of the coolmist and it will keep the air humid but not wet. Works for me.
