We're all very talented actors in my dream. I very easily confuse my dream mask/persona with myself however.

I have never gotten lucid, but have had some strange dreams....
Seems to be some commonalities, like the other morning I had a dream that planes were diving out of the skies and crashing all around me.... I wasn't scared, I was just in awe of all of the chaos going on around me....
I have weird dreams like that every once in a while of different air-vehicles violently coming to an end from out of the sky.... Hot air balloons, helicopters, planes, jets, etc....
I have never had a nightmare, shyt~ just doesn't seem to disturb me in dream.... But, I have been awakened with that feeling like you are falling.... I don't consider that a nightmare tho~....

I think you can, it does take effort. I'm thick as rock and I managed it.

Phantomcat, I've had many similar dreams of planes and other flying machines crashing. At first I used to dream that I was in the flying machines as they crashed, now I usually see them in the sky and think "wow theyre so low to the ground" right before they crash. Then I'm in disbelief that its happening.
The crashing in planes dreams started occuring a year or so after I had a bad car accident. Unfortunately , probably sparked by the dreams, I have developed a fear of flying in planes. I still do when needed but I almost dread the thought of it and get all nervous when my wife starts talking about traveling.

One time, I dreamt that I was a human being and had all these crazy likes and dislikes that I would blindly follow around, hoping to achieve some end which sadly never came. And then, get this, I actually thought that the body I had in my dream was really Me! But thankfully my dream body is in the process of waking up and unveiling the true Dreamer.

What is your dream mask? How is it different from yourself? And what are you working with?

How is it different from yourself?
It arises from myself, it is not different from myself: indeed, it is one aspect of myself. However I tend to think that my mask is my entire self, when this is certainly not the case.
What is your dream mask?
A conglomerate of all the different ideas and conceptions of myself: the ego.
