What do you think?
Equals? and should be treated as such, not their problem they were born where they are...
Outsiders? Screw them and everyone outside our great nation?
Indifferent...Doesn't effect me, I dont care?
Curious, have been arueing recently with friends about imigration and other humanitarian issues and am curious what my friends on the boards would say
-------------------- "People living deeply have no fear of death." "Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love." "Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings."

In my opinion, I think culture differences are essential to world growth on a personal and universal level. Each class of people, in each nation brings unique fashions of thought and talents. I love chinese food and mexican art, so it all brings about variety.
Although, I think immigration is a good thing, I also think that it definately needs regulation standards to function properly. It helps set good relationships between bourders and is also essential for good economy. Though, in the concern for human rights it becomes diffucult to manage, ecspecially when our standard of living differs from what is in place elsewhere in other nations. Yet, this can to be solved and should be of high concern in our society. Issues like poverty and such...Can you imagine a world where people refuse to accept others based on differences?? How much chaos and disharmony there would be? Prejedice and racism should have no place in our hearts and this also needs to be solved.
David_Vs_Goliath - Im curious to know what sort of humanitarian issues you are refering too, and any further information you can share about them. Good Topic.

If they come into a country, holding too long on welfare, I think, that is a problem. Perhaps, grant them some time on wellfare first, but after that time, they should legaly support themselves. Should a country care for new immigrants as much, as it does for its own original population ? Difficult topic. After some time, they should be treated the same, I think.

Most certainly. It was my personal understanding that the world revolved around the sun.
 Peace.
