just imagine being heavily dosed out on acid at a music festival surrounded by naked dancing hippies watching a a man dressed in garbage and rag wearing a KFC bucket on his head and ripping it up on the guitar.
I highly reccomend anyone who likes hardcore-psychadelic metal. download buckethead if u havent heard him its amazing you have no idea, anyone on the shroomery a Buckethead fan?

I have one of his cds. Colma, I think it's called. I was inspired to buy it after seeing some footage of him playing live. It's more fun to watch him play live than to listen to his cds, imho.

I was listening to "Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains" today. A collaboration of Les Claypool (bassist) and 'Brain' (drummer) from Primus, Bernie Worrell (funk keyboardist), and Buckethead on the guitar. Its pretty fucking trippy shit!
I'd like to see Buckethead live.

I am a huge fan of Buckethead! I didn't know anything about his being in the band Praxis and danksis and I stumbled past the tent where he was playing, at Bonnaroo 2004. It was an AMAZING show! I hope to see him again, soon! He's supposed to be touring soon, I think.

Saw him play at 10,000 Lakes with two very good friends of mine.
His playing is wonderful. Can't wait to see him again.
Ticketmaster lists one gig this year at the House of Blues Anaheim on October 29th.
Some festival needs to add him this summer.

i saw him with Claypool at the electric factory last year...
awesome show...he jsut shreds on his guitar...ridiculous riffs with crazy effects. his guitar strap is adjustable...and his guitar flies all over the place while he is playing...then he does a glow in the dark numbchuck solo...

I remember seeing some video of Buckethead and Claypool tripping by some corn field and Claypool was saying something really ridiculous.

i havn't heard any of bucketheads solo albums but i have heard colonal claypools bernie bucket of brains 'the big eyeball in the sky' and that was pretty psychedelic if you ask me.
the first time i heard it i was on acid and it was giving me some fuckin great visuals.

His solo albums are not like C2B3 at all.
Colma was an album he made for his mom while she was sick, it's pretty soothing Electric Tears is somewhat similar Elephant Man's Alarm Clock and Cuckoo Clocks of Hell are some heavy shit Giant Robot, Bucketheadland Blue Prints, Bucketheadland, and Bucketheadland 2 are all around fun The Praxis stuff is like well maybe psychedelic-ish... but fuggin awesome. Somewhere over the Slaughterhouse, Bermuda Triangle, and KFC Skinpiles have beats behind them Pepper's Ghost and Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot are just like badass riffs It's ALL different.
