Each time I do mushrooms I Learn something new. Recently while tripping I have started to realize that I can put myself in that mindstate by myself. What I mean is that I can reach such levels of pure bliss through meditation. Your thinking: "c'mon man what about the visuals?" If you have ever tried astral projection and got anywhere close then you know that mindblowing visuals are quite ordinary. I have had much more intense sights when i have been on the verge of exiting my body. I am just starting to wonder how much longer I will need shrooms. They have been an excelent tool, I think because I never took them just to get fucked up. They have showed me how to see again, and how to live life like it is meant to be. I was just wondering if anyone else is starting to feel the way that I do. (I still love the mush so dont hate me!)

I find myself dosing lower and getting better results....sometimes I just feel good and other times I cry like a baby....working through something I need to release. I also have found that I can carry the shroom experience with me and I am less defensive, more vulnerable and open, and basically happier....

After i reached a point that i was able to view as an apex of sorts i knew that that that was as far as hallucinogens would take me. That doesn't mean that they couldn't take me back there though. It's just that dependence on a substance to take you there rather than getting there yourself is what has to be overcome.

First of all: Saying all drugs are poisonous is completely untrue - some are toxic , but some psychoactive chemicals are less toxic than naturally occuring(in the human body that is) chemicals .
Secondly: Nowhere in the bible preaches against drugs .
Are you actually serious - I mean really ?

Astral projection is when the etheric, or astral body is seperated from the physical body through a process of meditation and trance. It is similar to lucid dreaming in that the rules of the physical world cease to exist. (Time and space) etc. There are literally infinite possibilities in the astral realm. Whatever you think can instantly manifest itself on the astral plane.
It is a VERY difficult task to consciously leave the body, so I suggest practing from the dream state, which makes it a lot easier. I f you are truly interested in this, dont hesitate to ask questions. It is a fascinating subject that affords us the oppurtunity to reach new levels of awareness and perfect our souls. Thats just a brief summary but there is a TON more to it.

MH: you can find RB's website at www.astraldynamics.com. He's quite a humble guy for an expert in OBE/AP.. He has a nice book out a while on AP.
He's got interesting articles and techniques, one of them is: CIR [Core Image Removal].
And no doubt, I wouldn't be here, too, in this forum right now...

Start to reduce your dosage each time while practicing meditation. With practice you can maintain that mindset without the drug at all.

I've tried a few times to lucid dream with little success there's just so many techniques. I've kept a dream diary but failed to fill it as my dream rememberence is very shakey. I 've caught myself dreaming so to speak a couple of times and woken immediately not realising what has happend untill later in the day when I may remember my dream. It's very fustrating. I ask myself if it's really worth the effort as veiwing the illusion from a different plane may not help, plus psychedelics seem get you to the same planes ;I hesitate to say *easier*  , than other methods.
I'm confused. The spiritual search is becoming intellectual voyerism with little practical significance...is my faith wavering so soon?

I really don't want to sound like a know-it-all, but I don't think you should be TRYING to lucid dream. There is really no sure fire technique to become lucid. It is just the action of your brain realizing that the situation is not feasible in reality. Dont go to sleep thinking about a lucid dream. Keep it on your mind during your daily activities, for example what you would do if you became lucid. Keep in mind that you have to do reality checks to gain control over your dream. Looking at your hands, or a clock tend to work best for me. (the first time I went lucid I looked at a typed document, then looked away, and when I looked back at it the words were nonsense. At this point I knew I was lucid and took control) Dont stress so much about it, it will come. Good luck

After doing drugs, you tend to think the same as when you do them. It will grow more and more, maybe you should dose less, and less frequent. Use them when you may need a boost, or to perfect a new skill you have not learned to do through meditation, use them as a teacher, a guide, a mentor
