Other things to consider are your cycles of Fresh Air Exchange and temperature. You should be getting as much FAE as possible and your temp needs to be in the low to mid 70's. Also a little light helps.
If you have all those then just give it time and you'll be harvesting the "fruits" of your labor in no time.

man all thi waiting is getting on my nerves.
i think this is the hardest part so far. the incubation not really much could go wrong, just basically check it every few days for development. but this i have to fan 3 times a day and on every 3 times i look to see if theres any new growth which their isn't arggggg
i fan 3 times a day, the walls of the ter are lightly misted with water. it get light from behind a curtainfor about 16 hours(would it be better to just let natural light through without it being filtered?

Mushrooms aren't really picky when it comes to light (nothing like cannabis lol). That's enough light
Patience is KEY in this hobby.
Plus, it def. pays out in the end

To reiterate "Patience is a Virtue!" GL with it
-------------------- Getting the most out of your casings!, A pinning strategy. Oyster Shell "Flour" $2 for 1lb. a hell of a deal Not what is overlay but rather what overlay is Gas Exchange vs. FAE "We all have priorities. I used a closet once setup a nice little lab trouble was all the shit that was in there ended up in the bedroom that pissed off the GF then I ended up dumping her as she was getting in the way of my sterile culture technique! Ya I got priorities too!!!"

looks good. watch for pins around the border where the verm meets the white stuff... you'll probably get 'em under the verm on top and near the bottom too but they'll be harder to spot until they're bigger. if its been 4-5 days consider yourself only about half way through waiting. waiting for pins IS the most frustrating part like you say, because now you're givin 'em daily attention and nothing seems to happen. but it will.. and when it does, a lot will happen all of a sudden, and it'll get real exciting soon... hang in there

i have no idea what it is really, i basically just used what i could find in my house, and what i couldn't i bought.
its just a large container basically, used for storing food. i washed it out with bleach and then didnt a "thourough" wash out, i think any sealable container will do as long as it lets on light.
any estimates on the grams?

i hope i get big fat mushies, these would make my year.
speaking therectically here
for the rye cakes= 6 grams per flush, 3 flushes, times two=thirty six(im guessing 28-36grams
for the brf 4 grams per flush, 3 flushes=12 grams(im guessing 8-12)
min-36g max-48
if i include my popcorn, which doesn't look like its going to work
i'd say about 3grams, 3 flushes, times four(30-36)
i could live off 20gs for a year 1gram dose with lemon, equals 20 hits=once every two week.
