Worth checking out?

Well no one in my area knows anything of mushroom growth - so I turn to the shroomery.
The date is May 6th and in South Florida (davie) we have been in a little bit of a drought ( we got a couple showers about a week back ) The humidity however has been at a constant 70% or higher at night time for some time now, which I heard ment there was mushrooms.
I am really tempted to go check out the field tonight ,me and my friend are considering it ... but is it worth checking out with a day time humidty of 40-70%, and a night time humidity of 60-80%, without rain in about a week?
Is it too dry for there to be any kind of mushroom growth of any sort? im not only lookin for cubes.
Thx, the replies will determine weather or not i will be checking out the cow fields tonight.

Does what time you go out there affect the amount of mushrooms you find?
I need to go at night because i dont have to worry about early-bird farmers or getting seen. There is not much fog in the mourning right now.

No you've got to be patient Nuggetpouch.
The Shrooms don't first start growing until late May/early June. And they don't start getting thick until late June/early July.

So there is no chance of finding any mushrooms? I recall reading (i think in your hunting guide GGreatOne) that mushrooms can be found all year round in Florida.

As a seasoned hunter from around the Davie / Cooper City area, I can tell you that I have never found active mushrooms in any of the commercial fields i've checked.
If by some stroke of luck you do happen to find a spot that seems promising, please drop me a PM.
