So u mean that too much light might affect the pinning on top, and this might be the reason why i got pinning mainly on sides. FYI, I am now starting to get pins on top too; they are rare though.

I am say that the sides have a more humid microclimate. Depending on the light source and distance it can cause excessive transpiration (evaporation) which will definitely hurt pinning big time but this would be extremely rare since we pretty much know what were doing around here.
