FREE spore print for first timers in need! 1

*mod alert: please don't move to the marketplace forum. thanks. well... i'm in a middle of a small grow and i've made some prints (and although they were not made under strict conditions i belive they are totally usable...) i'm sending someone a print and i've got a few extra so what you have to do to get these is this (i'll pick two winners in the next 18 hours or so... or untill i get to the post office )
this has to be your first time and your only spores (people that just want diffrent strains should head on to the market place and trade on the free spore print thread!) you have to describe how you're gonna use this print! and you should be willing to follow it up with a grow log (with pics... that's why i'm also asking to see a photo that shows anything shroomery related (feel free to make it interesting)
that's it really... i just want to make sure my prints head off to a capable first timer and i'm interested to see what happens from then on!

Hello Simisu, I've read "the Mushroom cultivator", a couple crappy books from the library, and alot here on the shroomery, I think I'm ready. So if you would select me as a winner I'd start them in quart mason jars filled w/ rye berries, then I'd move them into horse poop in a large plastic bin or two, w/ hydroton and bubble wands for humidity. I have access to a pressure cooker, and I'll get the homie started with a jar or two so the wealth will be shared. I don't have a camera, so I'll pick up one of those disposable digital ones to give you some pictures. Thanks even if you pick someone else, later.

Welcome to the Shroomery Dave!~

You really don't need to make a PMP to do casings.
The geolite and bubble wands are overkill for casings...IMHO
You could get away with using just a large container with a bubbler system.
like this...

or you could use the Double Tub...

I'm just a dick (most of the time) and assume the worst about everyone.
I'm just basing the assumption on the fact he registered about an hour after the first post in this thread was made and (so far) it has been Dave's only post. He's probably a really swell guy. I'm quick to jump to conclusions, but I'm also quick to admit when I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong.

I would take advantage of that if I hadn't already ordered a syringe a couple of weeks ago. Nice to see the kindness! Prepare for a growlog soon enough, though!

I have had friends that had grew back in college using hawkeyes? pf tech so i know a little about the process and i have been lurking these forums for a good 3 months now, reading and learning and collecting the materials. I intend on keeping a grow log. I have a binder full of notes and what not,I would love some prints. 1 post is very new but i have been aware of this site for a long time. I plan on doing a rye tech, in a small glass greenhouse i have.
I would scrape the print into a syringe and save in my refrigerator until i get the coir and the rye grain (I have everything else: greenhouse, humidifier, incubating tub with heater, vermiculite, mason jars, gloves, etc. All from collecting piece by piece). Being my first time im apprehensive and I think it would be interesting to see how my grow turns out as a first timer using only information from shroomery grow forums. I have a coolpix camera, ready to go. Whether or not i am chosen, its awesome that people like you and FungusMan are willing to share the "fruits" of your labor. Gratis

wow this is the post ive been lookin for. ive been kinda apprehensive about orderin spores, but ive gotten everything else i need. I will be startin off with the simple BRF PFtek and ive even gotten a couple jars ready for inoculation the other day so i could kinda get the hang of it, cause i heard if i do the jars correctly they can sit for months without gettin contaminated before i noc em up. all i need now is the spores! i will definately keep a grow log if i win and should be able to include some pics of my set up. im trying to find the cord that connects my camera to my comp right now. ive been on this site for probably two years readin how to do this and im finnaly gonna try it so if i win that would be awesome.

Thanks for the advice, and backing me up Roadkill. My friend showed me this website, and I've spent many hours at her house reading over all the great information. Really I've seen no reason to register and start posting since I have no experience with mycology. But we all gotta start somewhere. If I am selected, I'll give mushrooms away like candy at the Rainbow gathering this year. And I'll send prints to the free spore ring. Fungus rocks!

There are reasons why you must be around for a while before people trade you things. If you don't understand what that means, then I am sure most people wouldn't want to send you something anyway.
Also I personally do not see the reason you should be reviving a 5year old thread for this bullshit.
