were brilliant and ground breaking. after that he was a parody of himself. rehashing the same shit and taming down his lyrics. if u listen to his first album especially guy wasnt even really acting like that much of a wigger. rapping about mushrooms and getting picked on at school.

Have you ever heard the underground version of Slim Shady before Dre got his hands on it? Good stuff.

I feel the same way except I only go for his first album.

Yeah the first two were his best. I liked most of The Eminem Show, too.

The Slim Shady EP came out before the Slim Shady LP. The EP is the one with "I Don't Give a Fuck", "My Name Is", "As the World Turns", "'97 Bonnie and Clyde", etc., and with the Vicadin pills on it, right? That album was the first rap album I ever bought, back in seventh grade. I still occasionally pull that shit out. The Slim Shady LP is pretty good, too. I heard a few songs off "The Eminem Show", but didn't like them. The aforementioned, though, are both good CDs.

No you're thinking of the Slim Shady LP - the EP was a demo release and only 150 CDs were made.

His underground shit and Infinite were great. It has that raw sound and old school beats. Too bad the beats weren't his.... imo that shit sounded a little like Heiro.
I actually never really listened to any of that shit until not very long ago. I definitely have a lot of respect for him because he does what he can do best. I really wish he'd rhyme like he did back in the day, but oh well. Some of his radio beats just drive me up the fucking wall though.
