great pics, let us updated!! no more updates on that post, the experience is close with success, grain has being colonized. Now we know that it's possible to sterilize wheat grain in a 55 gal. drum
tyndalized? so you cook them with pauses? Explain please..no I do not, I' rent this expression from Anno (maybe a mastake). I've steam the grain 170min. in the closed drum with no pauses.
Jars where inoculated with agar? yesor what? mycelium was fresh?always
thank you ^_^

Sweet! I'm going to try this ASAP (though that may be later rather than sooner...), Congratulations, either way, and I'm so excited for this method to be adapted by others. Once I get this going, I'll try to teach it to the farmers at our November ag conferences... This is so cool!!!

Hi Jeremy
I remember that you were interested in my trenches method. I'm working now in a similar method but using cardboards as components in the trenches. It'll be easier and faster to clean, easier to control light, air exchange and humidity. Still in a open field. Later+

I was thinking of filling cardboard boxes with woodchips and trying cultivation that way.

Definitely still want to know about the trench techniques. I have a farm in Costa Rica that could really use the info (as well as Zimbabwe, and Nicaragua, but I'll let everyone know, when you let me know- I'm a bad secret keeper!!!) Can't wait to hear about the 100x size trenches. You are definitely a wealth of info... Light and Love, J

Could you explain this a bit more? when you say "tyndalized" do you mean steaming from 170min each day through 3 days?

tyndalization is the repeated heating and cooling of the substrate. You heat it up kill some organisms let it cool then the other survivors sprout and grow then you kill them with heat, then you do it another time or two. To make sure all of the lil critters have germenated and died.

I know Corporal Kielbasa, what I wanted to know is if that is what micolo2 did here...

This should work but I recommend using a stainless steel barrel. They dont cost much more and you can get them on ebay really cheap. A regular barrel will rust out quick.
Holy shit, I just noticed this post is 3 years old.
