hey i just bought a nice Lophophora williamsii off of ebay. The main head being almost 4" across and 2.5" tall. The second main head is 2.5" across, with the other 3 heads measuring from 1.25 to 1.6" across. I was planning on splitting it between me and two other people, do you think this will be enough (i think it should be but i am not 100% since it is hard to estimate) and what is the best way to eat it. cheers

I dont know much about this, but I think you have to mush it up, boil it in water, and repeat this cycle with the mush 3 or 4 times. Use the search feature, as im sure its on here somewhere.

Nice purchase!! I saw that there are quite a few nice ones on ebay. The " shaman's " dose is @ 1 oz dried buttons. Many people prefer to take 1/4- 1/2 oz doses, as a full oz can be a bit much without a proper guide. BTW, those must be very old!! Might consider leaving those alive and finding a different source for tripping. Peace

shit i was thiknkning that maybe 3 people was stretching it. i have been finding it hard to fine dose levels for peyote cause people always do it in bottons but never give the size or do it by dried weight and i dont want to waste the cactus (become attached to it). if i bought san pedro cactus cutting how much weight dose a good trip take (not a full blown), i have done alot of mushrooms and acid before so i should be able to handle it? i can get 800 fresh grams.

I think you might need a bit more than that. If you arent in a rush and are interested in cactus stuff, maybe look into grafting it onto something like a San Pedro and cultivating for a while.
A dose of San Pedro for me would be about 1lb or more. If you boil it and ingest it as a liquid (rather than eating pieces of it over time) you can probably get past threshold. I've never tripped hard on SP, but would try it again.

You can do a simple search for it on ebay. However, they are only listed in countries where it is legal.

Can they be shipped to the US? What else is there to look for other than Peyote, San Pedro, and Pervian tourch, though I really have no idea if any of those would be on there, those are just the main ones I remember.
I did take a look on there and maybe I found something but it seems like there would be things to look for to make sure its good. Erowid said that they should be about as long as your forearm. I saw one on ebay saing it was a Trichocereus pachanoi cutting 18+ inches. What are thoughts about this? Is there more to it than that?

i am planning on grafting at somepoint this year but i dont want to do it with this cactus. it is to big to risk doing it for the first time. i am planning on keeping the cactus alive when it is eat, when ever that is, cause it is old enough to do that. i was planning on buying more peyote cactus's that are 5cm big. how many more do you think will be needed? or i might buy some san pedro but i am not sure yet.....

Go check out the Ethnobotanical Garden forum. They'll know a lot on this subject.
From what I have gathered from there, they will probably tell you to not waste peyote when one could get the same thing from a San Pedro. Grafting it is only going to make it bigger, and, as far as I know, will not produce more mescaline by doing so (but perhaps afterwards it will produce it faster, as it is bigger, or something ). I'd research into it there, though.
 Peace.

not planning on killing it out right, planning on eating it thought. i have been told if you leave about 1cm of catus left above the root and do some toher stuff it will begin to grow more pups again. will have to look more into it closer to the time.

Keep the peyote, grow it, love it, reproduce it.
For mescaline: Step 1- Buy this:

Step 2- make this:

Step 3- put in mouth and enjoy

hrm... well for the cactus, check the shroomery sponsors. They're good folks, and I think a few of them sell cactus.
For the rest of the stuff you need, just confer with ekstaza's tek... it can all be found in a nearby store unless you're in a sparsely populated area. Usually a trip to the hardware store is all you need, once you have the cactus flesh.

Do I look for Trichocereus pachanoi "cuttings?" Or what would the actual thing I look for be?

Cactus/Plants, San Pedro, Cuttings/live plants.
Usually in that order from their menu. Same with EBay.....or just enter San Pedro.

Doesn't matter their age or anything. As long as you got it, "you got it?" Also some questions about growing them: All you have to do it have a piece of a catus and then stick in in dirt and it should grow without a problem. Does the age matter in this case? And also I hear that it can take a while to grown cacti whats the rate of growth?

It just matters as to how much you want to spend. The size of the plant material is how you quesstimate how much the dosage is so....
As for growing, the ends of the ones you buy will be calloused over and this is important to do yourself before planting if you get a 12" section and cut it in three pieces and plant those like I did. Just let them sit after cutting until the end(s) dry up and then stick them in damp soil...either vertically or horizontally and water sparingly. In the desert a Cactus will break off the Mother plant, fall to the ground and start rooting by itself. That's why you can lay them horizontally. The places where you buy them will usually have instructions of some sort on their site.
A San Perdro can grow a foot or more a year.....
