Well this is my first grow. I have a greenhouse/cool mist setup. (Check Grow journal for pics). Any way 4 small/medium casings are doing great made with 100% real h/poo. I made 2x1gallon casing with 60/40 dehydrated poo/straw. Well those big boys are giving me a headache. I realized now I made the sub mixture waayyy too wet! One large casing got bad ass cobweb all over so I tossed it. I tried to save it but the cobweb had taken over. So here is a WORD OF ADVICE: When using dehydrated manure mix with 70%-60% straw and have it drain very well after pasteurizing in water. The other big casing might pull through I took it out of the g/h and put it in the room. The room is about 30% r/h, I have the casing covered with a/foil with a few small holes, hope the sub drys out fast enough before rot sets in.

Use the 3% peroxide full strength to kill cobweb. There is no need to toss out a project over cobweb.
As for manure moisture content, it should be at field capacity before you spawn it. If it's too wet, don't spawn. I prefer to get my manure to field capacity, then pasteurize in jars or bags, so the mix doesn't get messed up. RR

The cobweb had been sprayed twice came back again and again. I also removed all the visible sub that had cob on it and the shit still came back, so I tossed it. Hey I learned a lesson and am going to inject more wbs jars tomorrow with some left over LC that in the fridge. I am positive my mistake was due to over saturation of my poo/straw substrate. Live and learn, I have learned a lot this first grow of mine and it only gets better.
