I would use Velcro.. You might need to staple it on because the sticky stuff on that back prob isn't Strong enough..

Someone asked this awhile back. I believe the best suggestion I heard was to cut a slit in the plastic and glue a zipper to the slit.
Metal shelves + Humidity= Rust

I'd use Velco too...
but I'd use some kind of adhesive...
rather than staple the velco to the plastic.

I like the velcro idea.. glue is just as easy..
I thought about rust but most greenhouses i saw online had metal shelves. umm ... If i paint the shelves would that reduces the risk of rust?

most of the greenhouses that you saw online are powercoated.
they withstand rust pretty good.
my 2 greenhouses that I have been using for the past 4 years don't have any rust marks on them yet...crossing my fingers!~
I'd spray your shelfing unit with Rustolium <sp paint.
<sp = spell check...fyi

Good shit
3 coats of it on my trailer hitch and it still hasn't rusted in 3 years of Florida rain and pulling a boat out of salt water.
