file conversion help

i've got an .ai file that i want to make into a jpeg but whenever i take it in to photoshop the color gets seriously fucked up like going from bright orange to grey no matter if i paste it, place it, import it, or whatever. any advice?

what software do you have...

if you have illustrator, open it in that and then export it as a jpg.

hmmm... just try to get the file size as small as you can without losing too much quality. Usually when you save a jpg it will let you adjust the compression. Compressing it even a little bit will take the file size down considerably, but too much will make it look shitty. Usually it will give you a visual preview as you change the setting. Other than that just make sure it is the dimensions you want it at and that it is not over 125kb.

and make sure you don't have spaces in the name of the file.
