Gonna do my first PF tek.
Is it recommended to dunk the cakes after birthing them?
Also can I dunk them all together or will that increase contamination chances.

yes dunk. yes it will but only so slightly that its no problem. best way to duk though is just fil lthe jars with boiled adn cooled water then put the lid back on to hold them down.
dunk then roll in verm and double end case.
or else just crumble and cake after dunking.

no when they are 100% colonized you dunk them. 12-24 hours. then you take them out and eitehr o the roll in verm plus double end case or crumble and case a few jars together.

I read that the "dunking water" should be as cold as possible. If u want the link I can find it for u.
What is double end casing? I searched for it on the glossary but it wasn't there.
