yes you can do that since you should be working in a glove box your print shouldn't get contaminated.

well the old hands say its bs. but sone said tehy use it. i wouldn't though. just make the ghettoest GB like mine. pretty much just a cardboard box with arm holes and sleevs plastic wrap for the top so i can see and 3 cuts to make a flap i can open and close to put shit in and out. gb's don't have to be air tight just draft tight. don't see to clean it down before.

ok, I dont want to sound mean but....
This hobby does take SOME work, if you open the print in an unsterile environment I wouldn't expect good results. a glovebox is not hard to make and well worth the effort. just because the "instrument" is sterile doesn't mean the air that the print is exposed to is. there are contam spores everywhere if any get on your print then you will be inoculating your jars with the contam spores as well as mushroom spores.
I'd hate to see you waste a perfectly good print.

don't know about anyone alse but i've made my syringes in open air both times and it worked fine!
just do your best and hope for the best! if you fail... make a better effort but if it works, good!
i bet you can reuse a print like that but you'll be risking making it contaminated (that's not to say you're gonna defenetly contem it!) a better thing would be using some of that syringe to knock a liquid colture and not having to worry about having enough inoculum to work with!

you are lucky if it works in open air. its just depends on your house. if you have house from 1920 your fucked if its newer you could be ok. if you live in the destery there probably less random molds growing. here in my rainforest and my new house open air is a definet no go though.
